Depends on how old you windows are.
If they are modern and the glazing beads are internal you should be able use a thick filler knife to prise out the middle.
If older, the glazing beads may be external but the same principle applies.
If even older still the windows will have an internal gasket which must be removed before you can push the DGU back and remove the beads.

The window is only a couple of years old so the bead is internal. The bottom bead was broken in one corner during installation. Too long a story why the installer has not taken care of it!
I have a glazing knife, which is supposed to be the tool for the job. However, it looks like a chisel with a bevel on one side. I don't know if it's important which way around to insert the knife.
I'm guessing flat side against the frame, but I don't know if it makes a difference. I just don't want to cause damage by using the tool incorrectly,
