Removing Door to Change Bottom Seal of Weatherstip

by Old-But-Keen » Fri Apr 01, 2016 12:29 pm

Hi All, my first post so please be gentle
I found a piece of my bottom weatherstrip hanging from my door and decided it would be a good idea to pull the rubber strip out and replace it
However, I didn't take into consideration that at some time i would need to remove the door to turn it upside down in order to refit the strip
I am concerned about lifting the door off its hinges in case I break something and would ask for your help in reassuring me that this is the correct way to remove the door
I cant find a make on the door so attach to photos that may help

Thanks

its the old flag hinges, open the door fully and simply lift it up, its on a pin system and refit the same way
