REMOVING TIMBER LOAD BEARING WALL

by barkiss » Wed Mar 12, 2008 3:59 pm

I wish to remove a timber load bearing wall.
What doI use as a lintel? What side supports do I use as there will be
no brick piers?Would it be better to have a steel frame made
and make concrete pads under the floor?
Would appreciate some guidance.
