Removing Wall with 2 Sockets in and Repositioning Them?

by PickledSquirrel » Fri Jun 19, 2015 8:17 am

Hi,

We have a large fitted wardrobe in the master room which needs to be removed, but fitted to the wardrobe behind the bed area is a stud wall which has 2 sockets.

How can I remove the wall safely and move the sockets to the actual wall 6" behind it?

Thanks,

after safe isolation of electricity supply at your mains board , supply turned off , your cables can be inspected to assess how they are connected to wall material, cable capping, conduit, clipped direct. do you have enough slack to connect up to new postion. a registered electrician in your area can test and inspect for you and issue any relevant certs .
