A part of one of our house walls here in Spain still has the old paint clinging to it. I've scraped off as much as I can but there's still a fair bit that is determined to stay put. I wanted to lime wash this piece of wall. Can I lime it over the old plastic/acrylic paint? It is white like the lime wash.
