Hello all,

Im looking for some advice, I seem to have what looks like damp around my rear door. The plaster is crumbling away from the corner of the wall. Im looking for some advice on what I could do about this. Would it be possible to plaster over this? I have never done anything like plastering before but happy to try out learning new skills!

Any advice greatly appreciated.

the damp is coming in from the door exterior, so check for any cracks in the sealant.
You don't need to plaster it, just sand the area down with sandpaper, and seal it with a PVA solution, before painting
