Repairing internal wall after removing large wall plugs

by Gardnjam » Thu Jun 17, 2021 5:03 pm

Afternoon all,

I’m in the process of decorating one of the spare bedrooms in my new house. Whilst extracting two rather large wall plugs from a partition wall, sections of plaster have come away from the wall. Given their respective size, I assume that Polyfilla won’t be of any assistance. How do I go about repairing such large holes? Is this type of wall what is known as drywall? How easy is it to repair? I’ve attached a few photos for reference. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jim
