Repairing plaster quickly in a bathroom to tile over again

by Colin G » Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:52 pm

I am currently going to strip out the tiles in the bathroom (and change the suite), having done a few test areas some plaster has started to come off.

Is there a way that when the tiles are off, I can fix the wall within a day or two and start putting up tiles again as I need a quick turn around?

Can I get the plaster to dry quick or can I use a 'tile backer board' perhaps?

Any solutions would be great

Cheers

Use Carlite bonding or one coat plaster, it'll be ok to tile on the next day. If you use dirty water to mix it with it will go off quicker.
