Repairing small chips and hairline crack in basin

by alisonjb » Thu Nov 12, 2009 11:47 am

Is this at all possible, or a hiding to nowhere? A glass bottle fell on top of my sink this morning and has caused two small chips and a hairline crack to appear on the top of the basin (away from the taps and the actual water holding bit of it).

Is there a product I can use to fix it, or should I just bite the bullet and either call in a professional or buy a new basin?

(Sorry realise this is similar to the problem posted by someone yesterday, although we haven't sheared off a piece of our basin).

Advice really welcomed please! Thanks.
