My property has a basement that I had converted when I bought 4 years ago yo become a usable room. The builder tanked the relevant walls and created a room within a room. It has a small side room that was tanked but not covered up as the room is just used for storage. The tanking in this room developed a white fuzz on the surface and can now be peeled off in places. Can I reapply the tanking myself on top or do I need to strip it back and start from fresh?
