I have 2 ceiling lights. These switch on/off using either of 2 light switches at either end of the room.
I have replaced one of these with a new light fitting. I unwired the exisitng ceiling rose and connected the wires to the new fitting (which has a connector block rather than a rose).
Now the new light works fine and can be switched on or off using either of the light switches as before. BUT the exisitng light which i have not touched is permanently on and will not switch off.
In terms of wiring i have 3 cables from the ceiling, each having black and red wires, plus an earth. I wired the earth to the earth terminal connector, the 3 reds i joined together, 2 blacks connect to the N connector and the other black (switch live) to the Live connector in the light fitting. Any ideas?
