Replacement bath

by GARYF » Thu Aug 30, 2007 12:13 am

Hi everybody,

When replacing a bath, if i want the new unit to have the taps and waste at the opposite end to the original, will i run into problems getting the correct fall on the waste or is there a easy way around this?

Many thanks in advance,

Gary.

Most bath's (apart from the roll top free standing type) have adjustable legs, so you can adjust the height of the bath, this will allow you to increase the fall on the waste pipe.

Where does the pipe go, outside ? or into the soil stack ?
If it goes outside can you not lower the hole in the wall where the waste pipes goes through to outside ?
