Replacement of ceiling rose and terminal wiring question

Post by Jayt9433 » Sun May 03, 2020 1:01 am

Hi folks

Had to replace my light pendant due to it breaking.

I have basic electrical knowledge, and during the current situation, I thought I’d attempt myself.

I copied the original wiring to the new one.

After having looked on google after, no diagrams look like my wiring.

There are two wires going into one terminal on the line block, and none on the loop. It also has two neutral wires.

The lighting circuit in question has two switches and two lights. Both lights come on with either switch.

My question really is does it look correct and is it safe to have the two wires in the one terminal?

Thanks

Looks like you have two lights in parallel (But you did say you have)
My query is what country are you in, as here in the UK we do not have Black and white cable.
