Hello, I have four questions regarding replacing slabs with gravel. The old slab drive has been done to what I would say is a good standard. No broken slabs and very flat. I have lifted a few slabs and it looks vey firm and solid underneath. The slabs are 2" thick. Measurements are 7mtrs length and 4mtrs width
1: Could I just remove these slabs, lay down some weed barrier and replace with gravel? it will be used to park cars on.
2: Would I better using 20mm or 40mm gravel.
3: Would it make any diffrerence if I put a single row of bricks around the perimeter to stop any stones moving onto pavement or will this happen anyway
4: When said gravel has been laid on the drive would I need to go over it with a whacker to compact it.
Many thanks for anyway who may be able to assist.
