My back door needs replacing as it is rotting away, it is a softwood door. I would like to replace it with a hardwood door. Can it be fitted into the original frame if that is softwood? The frame is in good condition.

if you havent fitted the new door then yes you should b able to fit a hardwood door into the frame aslong as u buy the right size door ie 30 inch fram u would need to buy a 30inch door and shhot the door in but it should work any more questions wright back
