I had an extension 10 years ago and the ground floor was constructed as concrete beam and block, but I was persuaded to have timber joists and chipboard laid over the top "to save time". Needless to say the UFH is not as efficient as it could be and I now want to have a screeded floor with the pipes laid in it. Airbricks were fitted at the time, but apart from that and the fact that I will have to replace the floor covering afterwards (which I want to do anyway) is there anything I need to check/be aware of ?
Thanks
