Replacing washers in old mixer taps

by Bren » Sat Dec 08, 2007 4:21 pm

I am trying to cure a leak on an old "Armitage" mixer tap on a bath. It selects between shower or bath and then hot and cold water mix. It uses a selector between the two taps on a rocker type arrangement. How do I get the head off the tap...there is a grub screw on each tap that I have removed but I am worried about what happens now!
