REQUIRED DEPTH OF DRAINS/SEWER EXTENSION, GARAGE CONVERSION Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

We are having our detached garage converted into living accomaodation, hence we have had our drainage system extened. All is in place now with a manhole being created but the new pipe work done by the builders does not appear as deep as our existing drains, we have yet to have the building inspecter view it. Is there a minimum depth requirement for the new work ? Would appreciate any comments. Thank you

The drains will eventually have to link up to the main drainage somewhere so the depth f the new is entirely dependant on the depth of the old and the fall (angle) they need to slope down to them. There can be no minimum depth for drains for this reason.
