Need some advise regarding painting my kitchen cupboards, please.
Firstly, I think they are melamine? (see pic) if I am right what steps do I need to take to prepare for painting?
Does anyone recommend a decent paint? I like Farrow and Ball colours but have read bad reviews about coverage and obviously it'll work out quite pricy if it doesn't cover right. Can I use standard emulsion and a varnish to seal? I am on a budget and need the best value products around, really.
Should I use a brush or roller for this project?
Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.
Ideally I'd like to pull the lot out and start again but sadly not an option at the moment but I cannot bare looking at them any longer.
