Rewiring - symbols to use for plan drawing

by williams daddy » Thu Mar 15, 2007 4:46 pm

Can you help - I need to draw up a plan for an electrical contractor for the rewiring of our house which naturally needs to include sockets, switches (whether 1 or 2 gang), lights cooker etc. Are there accepted symbols for each item and do I have to include the circuitry in the plan or is this something that they will work out on my behalf. I have trawled the internet and found nothing to help me.
Please help
thanks
