Hi guys,
Newbie here - but fairly seasoned diyer. Plumbing is not my forte...so after some advice if you would be so kind please....
I am saving some money on our new bathroom install by ripping out the old bathroom myself. I'm comfortable with everything except disconnecting the plumbing to the hot and cold taps on the sink and bath, the shower hot and cold and the toilet infeed.
Unfortunately, the pipes (10mm flexible) going to the taps and toilet do not have isolator valves. So I need to turn off the water, disconnect and then put stop-ends on them.
I have an unvented system. Can I literally just turn off the mains water, disconnect everything, cap it off and then turn the mains water back on again? Is it that simple? Or is it more complicated because I have an unvented system?
Thanks for any help you can give me on this project!
