Hi, we have just replaced our roof and on inspection I noticed that most of the roof boards that I can see have series of nails protruding into attic as if they've used a nail gun to guess where the beam is below and missed.
I have no idea if they've managed to hit any beams and am concerned the whole lot may slide off! (They've already tiled the roof so I can't see from on top.
Even if they have secured the roof boards surely having 6 inch nails protruding into attic should be considered shoddy workmanship (and dangerous) and potential reason to withhold payment until they fix?
