Roof insulation/overlapping wall insulation

by ajdunny » Fri May 11, 2012 2:46 pm

We have recently improved the ventillation in our loft, including circular soffit vents. I want to revamp the loft insulation now, but am worried about going too far to the edge and blocking the soffit vents, therefore restricting the air flow. I read somewhere that you should only insulate until the loft insulation rolls reach the cavity wall insulation coming up.
Most people I have asked though have said to insulate tight to the edges and corners. Hope this is clear. (The wall insulation is wool fibre.) Ultimately, I am trying to eradicate tiny condensation spores on the coving and walls of my house. Many thanks.
