Room thermostat site

Has anyone any thoughts on the best site to install a room thermostat, please? ...Hall, living room, etc.

Hall would be normal even though mine is in living room.

important not to have it where you have any TRVs though.

Away from sunlight and heat sources, Living room with fire ? no good fitting room stat there.

Hall would be best, if there's a radiator - remove the TRV.
