router plane

Will get occasional use when jointing etc, price is in my range. There are no reviews. Just wonder anyone got same and happy with its performance. Tried making one using 1/2" chisel set at 45° but didn't work.
£38 China

Hi greengrass,
You’re probably better off getting a secondhand combination wood plane (one of the metal ones).
