Salt in internal brickwork

I live in an old single brick bungalow and salt keeps showing on the internal walls.I have used several sealants without success.Can anyone help ?

Its called efflorescence. Brush it off (don't wash it off - that only makes it come back again) and treat wall with an anti-alkaline primer. But you'll also have to find and deal with the source of the damp that's causing the salts to leech out of the plaster / brickwork.
