Hi. I intend putting lining paper on an old, smooth but hairline cracked ceiling prior to painting. I have read that sizing a ceiling with watered down paste is essential prior to applying the lining paper, but I can't find out how much to dilute the wallpaper paste by. Is it a small amount (say 10%) or more (eg 50%)?
