Sealing around a bath

Post by Green Stick » Mon Mar 30, 2009 9:24 am

I bought some plastic sealing strip to fit around my bath. It fits under bottom row of tiles and is fixed to the bath with silicone. Can any one advise how best to seal the internal corner where the side strip meets the end one?

Basically that is why installers never use them. You have to fill the gap with silicone, and that doesn't always work. In my experience, they almost always leak after a period of time.

Wait until you try and fix a shower screen to the bath edge with one of those strips in the way!
