Sealing Plaster Edge on Exposed Brick Wall All manner of questions and solutions to problems and issues surrounding the subject of brickwork, blockwork and stonework

I have cleared a brick wall of traditional lime plaster and intend to seal with a matt sealer like this

However, at each end of the wall and where it meets the ceiling there is a 4cm band of plaster. Can I seal this with the sealer or will it need to be replastered or similar?
