I am now thinking of installing a power shower such as the Gainsborough that uses a 12v supply. Are there any drawbacks to uses this power source rather than 240v?
Further to my original message.. Let me summarize.. My electric shower is not working well because of reduced mains pressure. I have a positive head system... cold tank is in loft, shower beneath it. Do I 1. Insert a pump such as a Salamander between the cold tank supply and existing electric shower...
I understand that Power showers give much greater force(up to 14 lit per min) than a Mixer shower. My 3rd option .... would it be a good idea to add a pump between the existing electric shower and the cold storage tank? Many thanks for all your ideas...
