sorry no easy way to do this job only other way is to burn it of using a blow lamp and would not advise so both are very slow to do and the nitramoors will have to be washed down once complete its a PITA of a job i only remember doing it once in a painting and decorating career lasting more than 45 ...

Tricky one. you have to provide a key for any paint to grip on to laminate on surface . so if you cant replace the top. i would use a sander with really heavy duty sand paper then search for a primer or you could try PVA then use a primer then under coat and a Finnish of your choice ither satin or g...

Preparation is key. prime first , you dont have to buy a tin of primer but you can use a oil based undercoat . first pour out a small amout of undercoat into a container then thin with 50% white spirits to make up a very thin primer . use sparingly to coat sill then leave to dry to next day then san...

David the residue will have to be completely removed prior to plastering . other wise it will reactivate the backing of the old wall paper and bubble up and that will show through to the finished plaster , so if you want a good job better to remove then sand when dry and apply a coat of PVA to bond ...
