Hi. We are going to be moving in to a property, that we would like to open up the rear load bearing wall. The problem is that the brickwork has a 250mm/10inch staggered return. Please see the drawings. The question is can a steel Z shaped lintel ( Preferred ) or a H shape lintel do the job required....
