I’m no expert on paints. Both get good reviews on Screwfix. I would think the leytex gives it the edge on new plaster but plenty of people seem happy with the contract for this when watered down. I’ve only used the leytex and found it gave great coverage.

Hi folks. Wasn’t exactly sure which forum this best fitted. I’m looking to make a corner seating area for a raised patio which will be part painted and part stained. Hi. I’ve experienced this myself. From what I remember I think I gave them a light rub with fine sandpaper. Also I have found that Leyland Super Latex paint is a fantastic first coat for new plaster. Hope this helps.
