2 Questions on OSB for a shed floor please

I have decided on OSB to make my shed floor.
What nails or screws should I use to fix it to the timber floor joists?
I have some bitumen for the edges I will be cutting but what do you think I should use on the top and underside?
Greetings to all

sage instant accounts

I have an old Sage (version 11) instant accounts. When I go try to get a nominal activity report, I get a message saying,
"Unable to connect to data source, check configuration"
Also nominal balances, audit trail, the same message.

What to do please?

Keep well everyone.

Re: Shed base, overhang, bearers

Actually Stoneyboy I am making the whole thing, so there are no existing bearers. To clarify, the floor sits on the bearers with no overhang, but "skirt"? Does that mean wrap the dpc around the bearers somehow? Please explain and thanks for your help.

Shed base, overhang, bearers

Looking at garden shed diagrams, I cannot quite see the details, perhaps you can help to clarify please. Constructing a garden shed, concrete base is down and about to start the timber frame (floor). Does the floor just overhang the bearers underneath by a fraction, or should the dimensions be the s...

Re: Do shed bearers need securing please?

Kind of you stoneyboy. I have now bought a hammer drill, so it seems to start again. What would you advise, should I secure the timber bearers to the concrete base and /or secure the shed to the bearers? Both either? That's why my user name is ohdearme! If securing, now that I am a proud owner of a ...

Will my softwood for stud wall dry out?

Hello

Living in London, my stud partition softwood has got wet over the last two days of wet weather, not soaked, they were covered. I have brought the timbers indoors now.

Will they dry out? How long please, I appreciate your answers will be just a guide, but will be grateful for your comments.

Do shed bearers need securing please?

Hello, I have just joined. I have my concrete base ready and need to know if the shed weight will hold the timber bearers or if I need to secure them to the concrete base. If so how please?
