Foam covering the ladder ends is the best way to protect your walls and wallpapers.

I think an interior designer will be able to give you an estimate but going straight to the builder for the estimate would be a better idea.

Looks like you are gonna have to cut through the glued or soldered part to clean the pipes or it would be better if you could scratch the glue off from the joint and open it up.

An inspection chamber is needed wherever the pipework changes direction with an angle of more than 30dg, if there’s a change in pipe size, or if two pipes come together at a junction of more than 45dg. These should either be accessible through an inspection chamber or a rodding eye.
