Unusual wall socket

We have a wall socket which we don't use, but it sits under baby's crib, so I want to make sure it's safe ( she can't reach it). The design is one I haven't seen before, with an angled piece between the 2 switches. Is this okay to leave under her bed unused, or should we have it removed? Thanks very...
