how the heck can you be assesed on work you havn't done , what is the [point of part p courses if you can't ( for want of a better expression ) part p . Total and utter nonscence the people who run the courses should be duty bound to tell people that there courses are therefore a total waste of time...

In theory both are acceptable , all you are doing is ,each junction box is taking place of a socket so that means you can spur off each one as you would with a socket on a ring or radial ,(only one spur allowed off each j/b or socket ) your problem might arise as regards j/b because they all have to...

ok , you have 3 wires (actually cables) all the reds need to go into connection block ( seperate to light fitting ) you are then left with 2 blacks and 1 other black which should have red sleeve .The two blacks without sleeve connect together . .Ok you now should have a connector with 2 blacks in it...
