My solution turned out to be to use a Bottle Trap which is very compact and gave me a few more CMs to play with and a shorter flexi-Pipe.

(the wrong type of connector ends was probably just my experience)

Connecting cloakroom pedastal basin waste pipe to wall outlet constricted space

I have a telescopic P-Trap but its outlet is very close to the wall outlet so it's difficult to connect the two. Currently the only solution I have is an McAlpine flexitube but that puts a lot of sideways pressure on the p-trap. I am thinking of changing to a bottle trap as it is more compact but ho...
