Bathroom basin mixer taps with low pressure hot water

we have just had the tap installed, it said on the description that it was high and low pressure, the cold comes out quite fast as per the old one, but the hot has not much pressure , was there something the plumber should have changed on the tap, to change it from high to low pressure .
