Hi magicalwonders, That knife will be fine, you'll probably be better with the flat side to the beading, you may have to hammer the knife in (it will go in about 2mm) and then lever the bead up. Hi magicalwonders, Depends on how old you windows are. If they are modern and the glazing beads are internal you should be able use a thick filler knife to prise out the middle. If older, the glazing beads may be external but the same principle applies. If even older still the windows will have an ...

I need to remove and replace a bottom piece of beading on one of my windows. The YouTube videos I've watched show that a long piece is removed first, making it easier to take out a short piece.
