It's just two adults in the house. Never been in a habit of switching things on and off in different rooms while i'm naked and dripping wet!! We'd plug it in, shower, dry off, get dressed, and then unplug it. I think it's normal to leave it to over-run for a while anyway, to clear the humid air from...

Hello Mr white Turning it on and off isn't a problem as it'll only be for a few weeks. Plug it in to socket in spare bedroom before shower/unplug afterwards . It was just knowing that it's ok to put a plug on the end, as it says in the installation instructions that it is "for fixed wiring only...

OK. Condensation/damp is an ongoing problem in this house, so I'm probably worrying too much about it and anticipating problems before they happen.

Thanks Stoneyboy, i'll have a look at that. Not sure how dips in the ducting would stop condensation though. Wouldn't it just sit in the pipe and build up?
