Two things puzzle me about the basin waste that we have, as in the pictures below 1. what is the removable part called - filter, grating, grid, strainer ? or another name for it ? 2. it was already fitted when we bought the house, where did it come from and are these particular types of basin waste ...

Putting a toilet waste pipe outside

Detached house built in 2003.

Do regs allow for a toilet waste pipe to be fitted outside, along an outside wall ? (either with AAV or normal vent)

The difference between the two meters is that the first is high impedance and the second one (yellow) is low impedance. High impedance means that the meter requires hardly any current (micro-amps) to infer a voltage. Low impedance means that the meter requires a bit more current (milli-amps) to make...
