Can only guess. Did you mix up SUPPLY terminals for LOAD terminals? Did you mix up switch live for permanent live? Have you used a different switch from the one i imagine you might have used? Thanks ericmark. I've gone ahead and done it anyways. Accept i labeled it warning instead of danger. It's for elderly relatives so it needs to be switched in an existing light switch. It used to switch florescents and I'm keeping the switch for their familiarity. At 90, who needs google. Interesting...
