Overflow for ceramic sink...

Hi, i recently purchased a plain ceramic sink with no attatchments. It has a standard 90mm waste outlet which i bought locally but i cannot find an overflow to fit it as the previous s/s sink had a grill which a screw passed into the pipe assembly - no such luck on the ceramic one! Any ideas chaps??...

Compression fit - ptfe tape or paste?

Hi, being a total novice in the plumbing arena, i was wonderering when making a standard compression fit joint what to use around the thread / olive etc to ensure a water tight fit?

Thinner worktop clamps?

Hi, im saving money by buying a 28mm worktop and was wondering if the standard worktop clamps still fit the thinner worktop or do they do thinner ones?

Building up concrete floor

Hi all, Im looking to build up an existing concrete floor with more concrete to a hight of 12mm (the height of the plywood next to it) do i need to treat the existing concrete with anything before i lay this thin layer? Cheers in advance.

Bonding plywood to concrete floor

Hi, im going to tile my kitchen floor and half of it is floorboards while the other half is solid concrete. Obviously i will have to put down plywood first and screw it to the floorboards but what can i use to bond the plywood to the concrete? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi David, i would love to know what you decide to do as i have the same problem with my porch door - the bottom 1 1/2 feet of either frame is rotten!
