Thanks for the advice. I managed to sort it, well kind of... I closed all the radiators and bled each one individually starting downstairs and working upstairs. In trying to bleed the pump I opened the wrong valve. I tweaked the pump shutoff valve (one above and below the pump). and the valve prompt...

Tiling on a damaged wall

Having removed old tiles from my bathroom wall they have left behind a fair amount of damage (crumbling holes in the plaster). The wall is platerboard dabbed onto brick so removing and replacing the old plasterboard isn't an option. I intend on retiling the area. What's the best way to get this surf...
