am i right in thinking that i only need to drain down the central heating to change the valve?also i have drain cocks on all four rads downstairs,do i need to drain all or just 1
this may be of no use,but i had the same problem after having central heating installed.it turned out to be an isolator valve just before the water entered the tank.i replaced the isolator and now the excessive noise has gone
you can get a plastic stop cock that covers all sizes,as it has a mutitude of sealing rings for all sizes.i fitted 1 and it is fine.i had a problem as the 22mm stop cock did not fit.i got it from a merchant in gillingham dorset
Hi when I turn the Central Heating on it makes a strange sound like a Scraping sound I was wondering if it might be air in the system. I have a combination Halstead Best 40.
try taps to see if water is running ok and bleed rads
