Outbuilding bar project

Hello all, l have built an outdoor bar, to maximize the width l have used 70mm stud stapled breathable membrane, then shiplap wood cladding over it. I have then used 70mm xtratherm then l planned to just plasterboard and skim. Question is do l need a vapour barrier before plasterboarding, many thanks

if you want a light coloured mix use white cement hydrated lime and sand, mix ratio of 1.1.4
you don't need wall ties, you can use gravel to infill

Re: Red Brick and First home With Possible damp?

water ingress from unpointed brickwork, looks like the cause to all the damp, if you repair this then all the damp should disappear in time,

Re: Lintel Failure Below Window and Water Penetrating

the sandstone sill need repair, But the water ingress is from the window having been poorly fitted, the silicone has not been applied correctly and the rubber seals will have failed, I would replace the window and have the sill repaired while the window is removed

I highly doubt you will get planning consent, but you will need to consult with an architect, who will submit plans to the council for approval

If the surrounding brickwork is cracked then replace it, if not then cover it with a plastic trim and silicone
