Hi folks we are building a stone house here in Bulgaria and are looking to put in underfloor heating for the winter months. Is it possible in theory to simply run pipes from the back boiler of the wood burning stove throughout the ground floor and back to the back boiler? Rather than adding radiator...

Barn foundations

:) Thanks Welsh brickie, the ground gets pretty solid at about 500mm and we have built a stone wood shed with founds set at this and it's 1.8m high and is standing standing up very well. For the extension to the barn I think we will use about 600mm/650mm depth and about 500mm wide. What do you think...

Foundations for a stone wall

:D Hi folks enjoying the weather out here in Bulgaria were we have relocated to and we need some help with the depth of foundations. We are converting a barn and building a single story sand stone extension to extend the barn. What depth of concrete foundations will we need? Kind regards Iain
