Building a bath box!

Hi there,

Anyone know what I need to do to build a box for my bath to fit into? I will be tiling up the sides of the box but where do I seal it?

Knocking pipes!!

Hi, When I empty my bath there is a loud knocking sound coming from the pipes which are covered by a boxed section. What is happening here? I can understand pipes knocking when they expand with heat etc... but cannot for the life of me understand why they knock when the bath is emptying. HELP!! :sho...

Loose and wobbly stairs!!

Hi,

The problem I have in my 15 year (Bovis) home is that the stair case, in particular the bannister has a fair amount of play and wobbles when you hold on to it.

Hi all, I think I am right in saying that when I dryline my en-suite bathroom I do not need to put any form of edging (metal or plastic) on the window resess/toilet framework etc.. where the plasterboard butts together if the whole room is going to be tiled from floor to ceiling? How do I remove tiles from plasterboard?

Hi all,

I want to remove all the existing tiles from my bathroom walls with a view to re-tiling from the floor to the ceiling.

How do I remove the existing tiles without damaging the plasterboard walls underneath and how do I prepare the walls for re-tiling?
