you could try drilling a 10mm hole in the top of the door sash this stops the air trapped in the sash heating up and allows it instaed to escape.as said before its not uncommon for woodgrain doors to expand especially if there south facing

it seems like you have problems both with the actual measuring up of your job and the fitting of the work .building control may charge for a visit but would be worth your expense .with hold monies until you are satisfied

you could try pushing a fine sowing needle in the barrell from the other side .if you have a spare key you are ok then.if that doesnt work then the barrel needs drilling use a 6mm drill bit and drill were the key would go towards the bottom of the slot this will release the pins the barrel then need...
